Vampire diaries question about werewolves and the curse?

K SRSLY WTF, if vampires can walk in the day with their lapis lazuli
(or rings that are enchanted by witches) why the fuck can't werewolves
do the same thing to help them turn anytime... like his whole breaking
the curse thing is pissing me off.
